Meet Our Board
President - Erica Davis
Born and raised in Great Falls, Erica Davis graduated from Charles M. Russell High School, where she now works. Erica attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota where she studied education and had the privilege of singing with the Concordia Choir. After graduating from Concordia, she came back to Big Sky Country to be near her family and began teaching French at her alma mater in the Fall of 2001. She loves her job and is still going strong after 24 years of teaching.
When not at work, Erica is at home with family or at the family cabin outside of Monarch. She is married to Jon Davis, who is also a teacher. Together they have two wonderful sons, Turner and Carter, and a golden retriever named Pearl who is spoiled rotten.
Erica loves singing with the Electric City Chorale and thinks it has been a great gift to all of us who are in it. Erica is thankful for the opportunity to sing together and bring music to our community.
Vice President - Jordan Spicher Lee
Jordan Lee is the head choral director at Charles M. Russell High School in Great Falls. After growing up in the tiny town of Hingham, Montana. Jordan received her music degree from Gonzaga University. Jordan also referees basketball and enjoys time with her husband, Brandt, and son, Walker!
Treasurer - Dave Scholten
Born in a blizzard in Minnesota, Dave has lived, worked, and sung in Montana, Washington, Iowa, and Minnesota. His first experience with Montana was as a 5-year-old on a trip to Yellowstone where he was bitten by a bear. Dave fell in love with the mountains, but he’s still a little afraid of bears. Upon moving to Montana, Dave founded DLS Consulting to provide specialized auditing and consulting services to financial institutions throughout the western United States. With a strong work ethic inherited from his father, he has a head for analysis, and a non-confrontational, easy-going nature which promotes a team approach to work and play. Dave also serves as a trained lay pastoral associate and the treasurer of the Montana Synod of the ELCA.
When he is not traveling, you can find Dave and his family at home along the Missouri River near Ulm, MT where he enjoys hiking, canoeing, skiing, and playing the trumpet and euphonium. Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlton School of Management.
Secretary - Marlie Matteson
Marlie Matteson was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana. She graduated from Great Falls High School where she sang in the Delphian Choir with Patrick Ryan and Jordan Lee as her teachers. After moving away for a bit, she returned home.
When not working at the utility company, Marlie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and is busy coaching cheer at CMR High School. Some of her earliest memories are of music class as a young child. She is grateful for the sense of community that ECCU for all involved.
